As an organization devoted to the cause of uniting the Bhutanese community in the USA, The United Bhutanese Association of New York, Inc. is proud to serve and support the multitude of Bhutanese individuals residing in America. We are dedicated to fostering unity and empowerment among Bhutanese individuals in the United States.
Our services revolve around community organization, including social and cultural events that encompass national and international events, Dzongkha and English classes, dance classes, and gala events. Our organization also engages the community through sports and recreation activities like games and sports for the community, hikes, camps, and picnics. Furthermore, we provide meaningful religious activities such as funeral services, creating a space for spiritual connection and support. To sustain our mission and activities, we also conduct fundraising activities in compliance with IRS regulations.
Our primary target audience is the Bhutanese population currently residing in the USA. We strive to create an empowered Bhutanese community that is proud to call themselves Americans in order to make our collective voices stronger and advocate for justice.
